The Virginia Alliance for Secure Computing and Networking (VA SCAN) exists for the purpose of strengthening information technology security programs within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
This year’s VA SCAN conference will be hosted by Old Dominion University at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) in Suffolk, Virginia on October 3-4. This year’s theme “Securing the Infrastructure” will focus on new usage demands and threats that challenge network and system security as a critical resource for our institutions. Special emphasis on the security considerations posed by control systems, cloud services, shared identities, increasing bandwidth demands and other issues. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear presentations and share ideas with your fellow managers, auditors and technical professionals around this topic.
Ames Fowler of Aegis Identity Software will be in attendance @ VA SCAN
